One of the most effective preventive mechanisms for addressing these types of crimes is social prevention. To enhance this approach, utilizing the capabilities of cyberspace proves highly beneficial. In recent decades, with the advancement of communication technologies, cyberspace has evolved into a powerful platform for raising public awareness and educating people about wildlife conservation. This study, conducted using a descriptive-analytical method, seeks to answer the question: what is the role of cyberspace in the social prevention of crimes against wildlife? Media literacy among wildlife stakeholders, awareness of wildlife species at higher risk, and differentiation of social prevention strategies are some of the key components of this proposed approach. The social prevention outcomes of crimes against wildlife based on cyberspace include increasing the likelihood of sustainable legal protection for wildlife and predicting diverse applications of the virtual world in preventing crimes. This research concludes that the role of cyberspace in the lives of individuals in the third millennium offers numerous potentials for implementing various criminological strategies, including social prevention of crimes against wildlife.</p> <p>رشد روزافزون جرایم علیه حیات‌وحش لزوم پیشگیری از این‌گونه جرایم را بیش از بیش آشکار می‌سازد. یکی از کارآمدترین سازوکارهای پیشگیرانه از وقوع این دسته جرایم، پیشگیری اجتماعی می‌باشد. در راستای تقویت این نوع پیشگیری استفاده از توانمندی‌های فضای مجازی بسیار سودمند می‌باشد. در دهه‌های اخیر، با توسعه فناوری‌های ارتباطی، فضای مجازی به یک پلتفرم قدرتمند برای آگاه‌سازی و آموزش عموم مردم درباره حفاظت از حیاط وحش تبدیل‌شده است. این نوشتار که  با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی نگاشته شده، درصدد است بدین پرسش پاسخ دهد که نقش فضای مجازی در پیشگیری اجتماعی از جرایم علیه حیات‌وحش چیست؟ سواد رسانه­ای کنشگران حیات‌وحش، آگاهی از آماج­های در معرض خطر بیشتر حیات‌وحش  و افتراقی­سازی راهبردهای پیشگیری اجتماعی،  برخی از بایسته­های راهبرد پیش­گفته است. برآیندهای پیشگیری اجتماعی از جرایم علیه حیات‌وحش بر پایه فضای مجازی نیز شامل افزایش احتمال حمایت کیفری پایدار از حیات‌وحش  و پیش­بینی کاربری­های گوناگون دنیای مجازی در راه پیشگیری از جرایم است. این پژوهش دریافته است که جایگاه فضای مجازی در زندگی انسان هزاره سوم توانمندی­های بسیاری را در آن برای پیاده­سازی راهبردهای گوناگون جرم­شناختی و ازجمله پیشگیری اجتماعی  از جرایم علیه حیات‌وحش به میان آورده است.</p> https://csjlp.org/index.php/csjlp/article/download/156/141
