Journal Article 1405/01/25 United States foreign policy toward Israel has consistently been influenced by a range of structural, security-related, and ideological factors. Among these, the evangelical movement has played a prominent and distinctive role. This study aims to explain and analyze the role of evangelicals in shaping the foreign policy of the Donald Trump administration, focusing on two significant and unprecedented developments: the relocation of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and the Abraham Accords. The study employs a descriptive-analytical method, with data collected from documents, speeches, and the findings of credible scholarly research. The analysis indicates that the Trump administration aligned itself with evangelical theological discourse more closely than any previous administration and employed this discourse as an instrument for legitimizing its decisions in the Middle East. The relocation of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, which had faced opposition from domestic groups and international institutions for decades, was directly associated with pressure from evangelical networks and Christian Zionist lobbying groups and was ultimately implemented under the Trump administration. Furthermore, the Abraham Accords were regarded not merely as a geopolitical agreement, but also as a response to the expectations of conservative religious groups seeking to strengthen Israel’s position within the regional order. The findings demonstrate that evangelical religious ideology—including belief in biblical promises concerning Israel—transcended the realm of identity under the Trump administration and was elevated to the levels of policymaking and operational implementation. This article concludes that the relationship between foreign policy and religious beliefs during the Trump era developed into a form of strategic convergence, which will undoubtedly have long-term consequences for the geopolitical dynamics of the Middle East. سیاست خارجی ایالات متحده آمریکا در ارتباط با اسرائیل همواره تحت‌تأثیر مجموعه‌ای از عوامل ساختاری، امنیتی و ایدئولوژیکی بوده است؛ در این میان، جریان اوانجلیستی نقشی برجسته و متمایز ایفا کرده است. هدف از این پژوهش، تبیین و تحلیل نقش اوانجلیست‌ها در جهت‌دهی به سیاست خارجی دولت دونالد ترامپ با تمرکز بر دو رخداد مهم و بی‌سابقه یعنی «انتقال سفارت آمریکا به اورشلیم» و «پیمان ابراهیم» است. روش تحقیق، توصیفی-تحلیلی و مبتنی بر گردآوری داده‌ها از طریق اسناد، سخنرانی‌ها و یافته‌های پژوهش‌های علمی معتبر است. تحلیل داده‌ها نشان می‌دهد که دولت ترامپ بیش از هر دولت پیشین به گفتمانِ الهیاتیِ اوانجلیست‌ها نزدیک شده و از آن به‌عنوان ابزاری برای مشروعیت‌سازی تصمیم‌های خود در خاورمیانه استفاده می‌کند. انتقال سفارت به اورشلیم، که از دهه‌ها پیش با مخالفت گروه‌های داخلی و نهادهای بین‌المللی روبه‌رو بود، در دولت ترامپ به‌طور مستقیم با فشار شبکه‌های اوانجلیستی و لابی‌های مسیحیت صهیونیستی پیوند خورد و به سرانجام رسید. همچنین، پیمان ابراهیم نه‌تنها یک توافق ژئوپلیتیکی، بلکه پاسخی به انتظارات گروه‌های دینیِ محافظه‌کار برای تقویت موقعیت اسرائیل در ساختار منطقه‌ای تلقی شد. یافته‌های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که ایدئولوژی دینیِ اوانجلیست‌ها-شامل اعتقاد به وعده‌های انجیل دربارة اسرائیل-در دولت ترامپ از سطح هویتی فراتر رفت و به سطح تصمیم‌سازی و عملیاتی ارتقا یافت. این مقاله نتیجه می‌گیرد که پیوند میان سیاست خارجی و باورهای دینی در دورة ترامپ به یک هم‌پوشانیِ راهبردی بدل شده است و این امر قطعاً در ادامه پیامدهای بلندمدتی در معادلات خاورمیانه به همراه خواهد داشت.
