Comparative Analysis of Crime Prevention Policies in Iran Based on Islamic Jurisprudence

This article provides a comparative analysis of crime prevention policies in Iran based on Islamic jurisprudence and compares these policies with those in selected Islamic and non-Islamic countries. The study begins by examining the concepts and theoretical foundations related to crime prevention from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence and then evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of crime prevention policies in Iran. Additionally, this article identifies the challenges faced in implementing these policies in Iran through a comparative study with selected countries and offers solutions for improving these policies based on Islamic jurisprudence principles. The findings indicate that Iran's crime prevention policies, with their emphasis on justice and the rehabilitation of offenders, have significant potential but require revision and adaptation to current social and cultural conditions. Finally, the article suggests ways to enhance coordination between executive and judicial institutions and improve cultural and social frameworks to reduce crime and enhance social security.
